Is Camp Crossroads Right for My Daughter?
The Girl Scout Council of the Nation's Capital (GSCNC) provides a wide variety of summer programs, day camps being one of those programs. These camps are managed and staffed by volunteers who donate their time so that thousands of girls can participate in Girl Scouting during the summer. While all of the camps follow the policies and procedures of GSCNC, each group of volunteers has flexibility in program development and implementation of that program. This results in a wonderful smorgasbord of programs and opportunities for girls to choose from. Each camp has its own "personality" which may or may not be right for your daughter, so please read about our camp, but also take a look at all of the wonderful camps available in our region.
To provide parents with as much information as possible, we've prepared these "frequently asked questions" content buttons (above). This information has been compiled over the years from questions asked by both parents and girls. It will give you insight into how Camp Crossroads is run. Please take a few minutes to read this information. We hope you'll find this information helpful as you consider registering for Camp Crossroads, and you'll avoid those embarrassing "oh, I didn't read that part" remarks later!
Camp Crossroads will follow current GSCNC guidance on COVID vaccines and safety practices.
